The new upgrade to your Fastback 15xsincreases the binding speed of your 15xs by approximately 25% whenusing Fastback Super Strip binding Strips. The previous binding cyclefor Fastback Super Strips was about 22 seconds per bind. However, withthe new upgrade the binding cycle will be reduced to about 17 secondsper book. This allows you to bind as many as 48 more Custom Coffee Packing Machine books per hour.That is a huge increase in productivity for higher volume customers.This is especially important for customers who are currently usingSpeed Strips since Powis Parker is the process of discontinuing theSpeed Strip.Your new upgraded Fastback 15xs bindingmachine will be capable of handling Powis Parker's brand new CP bindingstrips.

The Fastback CP strip is designed for binding some types ofpaper that were previously difficult (or impossible) to bind withexisting Fastback Strips. These CP strips offer superior adhesion forlaser print and color copier papers. Prior to the model 15xs, a soft or rounded binding edge wasthe standard finishing result.

However, the model 15xs provided a menuoption for creating sharper, less rounded corners on your bind. Mostcustomers seem to prefer the sharper less rounded binding edge offeredby this setting and thus, the new upgrade for the 15xs will make thissetting the default for binding documents. Finally, thenew upgrade for the 15xs binding machine will correct a firmware bugthat prevented users from saving their strip wrap settings. Previously,when the user selected a different strip wrap from the menu, themachine went back to the standard strip wrap (factory default) when itwas turned off. With the new upgrade, the machine will stay in the userselected mode when the machine is turned on, unless the user goes backinto the menu to reset the strip wrap setting.
